A very Short and Sweet Experience

Hellooooooo and hi semua!!!! Let me start by saying, OH MY GOD THE LAST TIME AKU UPDATE BENDE NI WAS TIME PUASA????? and secondly, I'M ON BLOODY FOUR MONTHS BREAK BITCHES!!!!

(Note: I've been very busy with finals and theatre and stuff, but now I'm finally freeeee)

Okay back to the main issue at hand, the Short and Sweet Theater Festival, in which I acted in, became a director and also a playwright. This was the second time I took part as an actor but the first time as a director and playwright (kedekut sikit nak conquer everything this year. hehehehehe).

For those of you who don't know, Short and Sweet is an event organized by PenangPac, KLPAC (I think they have one in Australia too) and it's an event for the arts. They also have a festival for musicals, dance, stand up comedy and of course, theater. This year, my script "Good Girls" got short listed which made me the happiest person in the world for a moment. Also, this year I directed a play called "Shooting Star" written by Terrence Toh and was acted out by Hazim and Tera (both TTS members). Whereas I acted in "Good Girls" along side Hajar and Rafiq, under Doc's direction. This time ladies and gentlemen, I played (drum roll please)

A PROSTITUTE

And to be clear, no, I wasn't a female prostitute. Not this time. There are three sides to this story so let me break it down individually.

AS AN ACTOR

Playing as a prostitute was not easy (shocking kan?) There was a lot of, errrr, touching and movement involved (padahal I'm not even the main character pun). And everyday Doc would always say I'm not slutty enough or I need to be more of a bitch. But on the bright side, my punch lines did reach the audience. They laughed where they're supposed to. But apart from being on stage, I like being off stage in the dressing room just as much. Cause the actors were nice and friendly and completely mental. They were supporting if we felt down about our performances and they were just that amount of gila that we needed when everyone is stressed waiting for they're turn to get on stage. They were awesome and despite knowing them for a short moment, they were like family (corny habis)

AS A PLAYWRIGHT

My script, "Good Girls", was basically about a housewife having a conversation with her alter ego and complaining about how her husband is a jerk and how her family sold her to that man to keep they're land, while the alter ego becomes her voice of reason and tries to convince her to leave. But there was a catch, she couldn't leave because she caught her husband cheating and therefore pushed the housewife to her breaking point and killed the husband and his bitch. She became mental in the end. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, what Doc did to my script was, Lisa (Hajar), the housewife, was having a conversation with her two alter egos which was represented by her dead husband (Rafiq), who also happens to be a sultan and the man-bitch he slept with (Me). I was worried at first that this was too much and the audience would be confused with Doc's translation of the script. But the audience loved it. So I was ok with it. Lesson learned, trust in Doc, Doc knows best.

AS A DIRECTOR

So the script I directed was "Shooting Star", written by Terence Toh. The basic idea of the script was this guy, Andy (Hazim), has a crush on Rachel (Tera) and wants Rachel to make a wish on a shooting star but Rachel refuses because it brings back memories of her mother's death. So instead, Andy made a wish on the shooting star that Rachel would be happy. And she was happy....with another boy (FRIENDZONE!). As this was my first time directing, I became a wee bit paranoid about a few things. Okay I was overly paranoid. I had to worry about they're acting, and the props, and the stage setup, and the lighting. There was just so much that I was overwhelmed. And worst of all, I couldn't even watch them during their performance because I had to prepare for the play I was in. Luckily there was Doc there to be my third eye. In the end they pulled through and everything went well.

In the end everything went better than I expected. Why?

The feeling was overwhelming and I thank God for everything. Alhamdullillah

So what's next? well "Good Girls" will also be playing in Short and Sweet KLPAC next month with a whole different cast, and concept. KL is going to be a totally different ball game because this is the first time we're performing at KLPAC. Come watch us!

Despite all the ups and downs faced on our journey, I wouldn't have traded any of them for anything in the world. So thank you for the experience PenangPAC. Next stop, KLPAC!!!

Terharu

Hiiii

Almost every Ramadhan, my ex-schoolmates akan organize sesi buka puasa ramai-ramai. Ever since aku duduk UTP, it's been getting harder and harder for me to come back and join any of these events. But this year (after much fighting with myself and contemplating on if I should go or not) I decided to travel all the way back to KL just to buka puasa with my friends. Tak kisah sekjap ke apa, as long as dapat jumpa diorang. So accompanying me on my day trip back was Gummy, Somy and Sara.

So fast forward to KL, aku dapat jumpa everyone and it was a mixture of feelings. Mainly sebab ada a lot of us, and all from different cliques masa kat sekolah dulu. There were even people yang 3 tahun lebih dah tak jumpa and suddenly jumpa that night. Needless to say semua orang reminisced about the good old days, the bad memories, new gossips, etc etc. And as much  fun as it was, my time was limited with diorang, sebab I had to make my way back to UTP that night jugak. I didn't tell them in the beginning that I came back just for that buka puasa (mainly because I didn't think it was a big deal) but when they found out, diorang macam gave me gas money and duit tol for the way back. I honestly didn't want to accept it (sebab it was a lot) but they insisted. And at that moment it hit me.

Dulu these were the same people yang I could consider aku tak suka sangat pun. Some of them there last night aku pernah benci gila time sekolah dulu. Some of them aku rasa annoyed gila time sekolah dulu. And some of them there, aku memang taknak borak with them at all pun. But that gesture of offering to pay for my gas and tol that night macam made me feel loved. It was as though despite every hate moment or negative feelings I had with any of them dulu suddenly didn't matter cause in the end macam everyone still anggap everyone as their friends. Despite the distance and years, I think that was the night I loved my ex-schoolmates even more. And it was all because of a small gesture.

So from the bottom of my heart, thanks guys. We got home safely, and thank you for everything. I literally almost cried on my drive back.

Of Ramadhan and Ukuleles

Hello, and selamat berpuasa to all my muslim brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers and grandmothers and aunty and uncle (you get the point)

Anywho, pejam kelip pejam kelip dah bulan Ramadhan dah (since last week Rabu, and baru nak post something Ramadhan-ish now. Sorry cek busy sikit haaa) This would be my second time puasa-ing at UTP and honestly, tak rasa beza mana pun. It feels like a normal day, except I'm more hungry and thirsty than usual. And to make matters worst, setiap kali dah dekat dengan buka, mesti bersepah gambar #foodporn kat instagram la, twitter la Facebook la. So sorry in advance if I'm a bit cranky due to deprivation of food and water. But besides the normal hunger and thirst, This holy month has been good so far (then again tak sampai lagi pun the 10 day mark of puasa) InsyaAllah my puasa akan full this Ramadhan and many Ramadhans to come.

Side story, sejak aku lepak ngan Gummy and Ermie and Rafiq, aku makin jealous tengok diorang sebab diorang sangatlah musically talented. Until one day aku buka puasa kat rumah Ermie and he thought me how to play the Ukulele and I got hooked. Seriously, this thing is like weed. I can't stop playing. I was so in love with it, that I paksa Gummy (accompanied by Tera and Sara) to teman me buy my very own Ukulele.

(Introducing, Ermie, my new ukulele baby. And no it's not creepy at all that I named it after Ermie)

And I feel so happy that I can play another instrument aside from the piano (not really). Also it's a great distraction from my hunger and thirst during this fasting month so no, aku tak rasa bazir langsung beli this ukulele (for now). Anyway happy puasa everyone. Let's make the most of this holy month. Also, side, side story, aku dah boleh main lagu suasana di hari raya (well almost. I just have to get the "wajik dan dodol" part right)

tu je

The Justification Of Actions

Hello,

First of all, due to this haze, I'm sick and I missed my class which sucks. Honestly I didn't want to miss anymore classes after the end of my theater, but circumstances prevented me from keeping my word to myself. However, is being sick really a valid reason anymore to skip class, I wonder. Really think about it now.

In school we skip class cause in our immature little minds, we feel that school is useless and half the time we don't know what the hell is supposed to be done. Growing up teaches us independence and how to survive in life. Entering now university life, where we ourselves are responsible for our own future and no longer our parents, could you really risk not going to class? And the reason I use risk is because the classes we attend symbolizes how we may handle ourselves in the working world. In simpler terms, now that I am responsible for my own actions and my own future, is this really a valid reason for me to do something stupid (in this case I'm referring to skipping class) and subsequently jeopardizing my own future with my stupid actions?

Which brings us to justifying our actions or, as I like to call it, paraphrasing our actions to make it seem like what we did is actually okay. I missed my classes today and I feel horrible cause I don't want to miss anything. However, I am sick, and technically, even if I went to class today, could I really give my full attention? Hence, there's no point of me going to class anyway if I am sick right? Somehow I feel like no. This is the same as: I was hanging out with my friends last night until 4 in the morning despite knowing I have class at 8. Yet, I keep telling myself, it's okay, I can wake up tomorrow morning. Then morning comes and you tell yourself, I'm sleepy as hell. Even if I do go to class, I might end up sleeping and so there is no point going if I am going to sleep anyway. Similar no?

We know deep down what is right and what is wrong. Yet we keep coming up with a million excuses to make ourselves feel better about the choices we make. The validity of the reasons you make up for yourselves maybe convincing to others, but can you convince yourself? I am not convinced that skipping class today due to a mild sickness is a valid reason despite how many reasons I keep coming up with.

Shit, I hate growing up

Tu je, bye~

Post Festival Theatre Perak

Hey everyone. Let me start off by saying, babi lama sial aku tak update bende ni. But in my defence aku super duper keduper busy these past few weeks. Like terlampau busy. Having to maneuver in between classes and assignments and training and bla bla bla you don't want to hear that anyway and aku pun malas nak cerita.

No, the point of this post is to rant about the recent events of Festival Theatre Perak (FTP) whereby our theatre group Tronoh Theatre Shop (TTS) took part. Let me begin by saying I regret nothing. We worked our ass off. So what if we didn't win? We still bagged two awards. And it's a pretty big deal for me too because

  1. It's the first time aku masuk show sebesar macam ni
  2. It's the first time aku dapat watak besar daripada biasa (also the 3rd time aku dapat watak lelaki. EH?)
I'm not saying that we should have won (and based on our previous track records, honestly I wasn't keeping high hopes) or that we are the best team ever, or that the judges tak suka our play ke apa. These things are very subjective. As long as we put on a good show and the people enjoyed it, I guess I could live with that. Although it would be pretty cool if we did win though. Just sayin.

Anywho, the experience was good and after a brief moment of contemplation and depression I thought, SCREW IT. We did our best, we learned a lot and we had fun. So as bloody corny as this may sound, we are all winners (that sounded waaaaaay worst than I expected) But you get my drift. With that being said, Let's get ready for our KL show. To quote Seether and Amy Lee "The worst is over now, and we can breathe again"

Before I return to the reality of studying and books and assignments, here's a little promo of our show in KL. Do come :)

Don't Hug Me I'm Scared

Hello everybody! Its that time again where we review yet another weird Youtube video. So as per-normal, tengok la video ni dulu

(Don't Hug Me I'm Scared)

Alright, bagi yang malas nak tengok, basically video ni at first nampak cam something innocent and kononnnye its something for children. But then as the song progresses, it gets a bit...err...creepy. Actually a bit too creepy. Mungkin tu la sebab dia namakan the video Don't Hug Me I'm Scared? (Takde kaitan pun) Anyway, current video views: 4million ++. Basically it starts off with three characters in costume yang tengah duduk senyap-senyap and look bored and suddenly a singing notepad is singing to them about getting creative. Tapi as the song goes on, the definition of "creative" gets more and more weirder. Like tiba-tiba ada a human heart and they're head banging and suddenly ada something about death. Babi cuak sial part last-last tu.

The video was uploaded on the 29th of July 2011. The name of the company who created the video is called "This is it" and their youtube videos are uploaded with the username "thisisitcollective". And actually diorang ada one other video on their channel yang bernama "Bad Things That Could Happen" which is not that creepy. Actually tak creepy langsung pun (aku actually expected that other video to be creepy too tapi nothing happened). The funny thing is kan, this video was featured in some festivals worldwide like Sundance and Los Angeles Film Festival. Tapi apalah masalah diorang ni gi tunjuk video creepy camni kat festival camtu.

So this creepy video was directed by some mat sallehs yang bernama Becky Sloan, Joseph Pelling and Baker Terry. Tapi yang Becky and Joseph tu ada website diorang sendiri where they directed other videos. According to the directors, awal-awal video ni the puppets were silent sebab diorang tak "creative". Pastu bila the notepad tu start nyanyi baru diorang start jadi creative. Kononnye the message is without creativity we are silent and boring...or something like that la.

So banyak orang (aku pun) actually get freaked out masa part diorang start jadi gila part last-last tu and banyak orang actually start getting scared. Aku pun tak tahu asal. For me it was because it looked so innocent and non-threatening and suddenly jadi hardcore and killing and human hearts and death. Dia macam kalau kau tengok and innocent budak kecik bunuh orang la. Scary shit.

Tapi tu aku je la. Aku memang senang kene takut pun, eheh.

Ok tu je. Bye

The Perks of Being in The Single Life

Hi everyone!!!

Seperti ramai orang tahu, aku masih single (terkejutnya). Tapi bukan aku nak mintak simpati ke apa. Aku nak cito kisah aku sebagai seorang single dan dikelilingi oleh orang-orang yang dah berkapel (kononnye macam single tu suatu penyakit yang kronik)

Laik this, sebelum finals, aku ada balik KL jap sebab mak aku dah pressure aku sebab apparently aku dah lama tak balik. Aku tak rasa sebulan tak balik KL tu lama mana. Ada je membe aku satu sem tu tak balik terus. Anyway, alang-alang aku balik, aku gi join surprise birthday party membe aku, Husni, and party tu telah pun diplan oleh aweknya, Shira. Ok fine. Problem is, kat party tu, semua orang pergi berpasangan. As in Acap with Amira, Hariz and Yasmin, Khidir and Fatin. The only ones yang pergi solo was me, Bear, Zack and Pie. And tu pun diorang datang solo sebab pasangan mereka tak boleh datang. Don't get me wrong, aku  bukan the type yang tengok orang berkapel and tetibe jealous and tetibe jadi desperate nak cari girlfriend ke apa. It's the fact that, kalau la tetibe everyone nye pasangan betul-betul boleh datang malam tu, cuba teka sape akan jadi the odd one out. Not only that, cuba teka sape yang kena ambik gambar semua orang nanti. AMBOI!

But okay in all seriousness, I still don't mind being the only single guy in our group. Cuma, sometimes tu, bila ada event-event camni, aku rasa macam awkward sikit. I mean korang mesti perasan some people bila depan awek lain, depan membe lain. So sometimes susah sikit nak talk to them. Not that at that party time tu ada any problems talking to anyone ke apa. Just nak kaitkan dengan normal scenarios. And ni bukan the first time. Aku pun dah brape kali juga jadi third wheel gi teman orang dating. So aku dah biasa sikit la. Okay tu tipu, I actually find it a wee bit annoying. Eheh.

But ni tak bermaksud aku akan tetibe go all out nak carik teman ke apa. My confidence level cukup tinggi and I will not be defined by a woman (Ceh! ayaaaaaaaaat!). I'm happy with my life and aku takde lah rasa lonely mana. Membe ada en. Cukup la tu for now. Hal-hal girlfriend, kita buat lek je. InsyaAllah akan jumpa. Hal-hal kahwin, wait until aku dah start keje ke apa. Ke tunggu mak aku carik kan ke apa (EH?).

K tu je. Night~

The Knife Game Song (Extended)

Hiiiiiii!!!!

Okay first of all,

FINALS DAH HABIS BITCHEZ!!!!!!

Jadi aku dah ada more free time...well until the 20th of May that is. Sebab on the 20th aku memulakan my journey as a 2nd year 4th semester student (laju gila ok). So, in my previous post aku ada cito pasal TKGS and how stupid and dangerous it is. So, I decided to give it a try because I very the smart liddat. Tapi aku play safe lagi la. Aku tak berani guna knife betul. Aku guna fork. And even tu pun on my 6th attempt jari aku berdarah ok. Camne kalau aku guna pisau betul. Aku rasa aku dah jadi cacat dah nanti. So anyway, to kick off my cuti posts, enjoy:

(Again please excuse my dressing and yes, I was wearing shorts. Not boxers. Also, I know awal-awal tu in the video I said attempt number 4 padahal I said before that I bled on attempt number 6. This is because aku buat banyak-banyak kali and ada a few of them aku lepas tapi ada jugak yang aku fail. Tak penting pun. Saje nak cerita)

Well, hope you enjoyed that. Anyway, kepada yang tengah cuti gak, Happy Cuti.

Imma enjoy my much needed break

Tu je. Bye~

The Knife Game Song (A Fun Way to Lose All Your Fingers)

Hiiiii. So I've seen a lot of stupid shit on the internet. But I think The Knife Game Song (TKGS) is by far one of the...ok nak kata tak cool, tipu jugak la, cause I kinda wanted to try it (lol) tapi sumpah serious shit bahaya gila babi weh that game. Bagi yang tak tahu what is TKGS, tengok video ni dulu

(The Knife Game Song. Please for the love of God, do not try this at home. But if you do, please do record it. To be fair, I did warn you guys not to try it)

So yeah, that was TKGS. Ok, it may look kinda cool when other people SUCCESSFULLY do it but please, please, PLEASE don't try this at home. There were actually videos of people who tried this and jari diorang berdarah. Some of them stabbed themselves. Bahaya weh! Ok putting that aside, bende ni sebenarnye one of the trends yang tengah viral world wide like harlem shake, planking, etc etc. But this one is just crazy. And people on the internet takdelah pandai mana. Nampak something yang semua orang tengah buat and diorang pun nak buat jugak.

Ok, moving on to some background history of TKGS. So TKGS or also known as Five Finger Fillet (FFF) dah lama dah ade sebenarnye. The game is basically, ambik pisau, put your fingers far apart on a table or some kind of surface, and stab in between the fingers back and forth, basically macam dalam the video. Asal usul FFF agak unknown jugak la, tapi dia sebenarnye start jadi popular sebab dalam movie Aliens in the 1980's, ada satu scene tu dia buat the FFF. And then, seperti biasa, orang start tiru.

Tapi the original TKGS was written and uploaded by a youtuber yang bernama "Rusty Cage" in August 2011. From his channel "RustyCageMusic" dia ada banyak original songs lain yang dia sendiri buat and The Knife Song is one of them, which is also downloadable. So dalam kata lain, salahkan dia sebab dia yang start trend ni. Well, not really. Kalau yang rajin carik video dia, he's actually an old guy. The video yang actually buat this thing trending is this girl atas ni punya video. Her name is Hanna Ellingseter from Norway and in March 2013, she uploaded this video. Sebab dia lawa and boleh nyanyi sikit, bende ni terus viral. And hence begins a whole new trend of stupidity and bloodshed.

Once more, Please jangan try bende bodoh ni. It's interesting to watch, tu aku admit. Tapi kalau nak hilang semua jari kau, be my guess. Nah siap aku bagi lirik lagu dia ehehehehe (encourage orang buat pulak)

The Knife Song

Oh, I have all my fingers, The knife goes chop chop chop
If I miss the spaces in between, my fingers will come off
And if i hit my fingers, the blood will soon come out
But all the same, I play this game, cause that's what its all about
Oh, CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP
I'm picking up the speed
And if I hit my fingers then my hand will start to bleed

But seriously, don't try it.

Ok tu je. Selamat bermain dengan pisau. Moga putus semua jari.

Bye~~~

Dear Lord, He's Back!!!

So, ingat tak dulu ada that guy yang buat that so-called parody of Sayang by Shae? Well, unfortunately, he's back, with more *shivers*

(Teman Pengganti "Parody")

(Diamonds "Parody")

Yang bende lawak nye kan, dia pakai the same exact baju and backdrop for both videos. Mungkin right after dia buat satu video tu, dia kata "Eh cun la titew dalam video ni. Nak buat lagi satu la, uhukz" pastu terus buat. It was funny when he did the Sayang video. But he should have just stopped at that. Kalau yea pun nak buat lagi, creative la sikit. Both these two videos look the same. Well mungkin hobby dia kot buat video macam ni. Whatever dude, as long as you're happy then fine.

Tu je

G-G-G-G-G-G-Goat Remix!!!!

Hi everyone.

So yesterday I posted a fun useless fact that we probably knew before this. And it was kinda fun learning something new (nerd alert) So, malam ni aku terasa nak share pasal another internet sensation, which also boleh kira has been around for quite awhile jugak, THE GOAT REMIXES!!!!! Bagi yang tak tahu what a goat remix is, watch this first. And kalau macam malas nak tengok the whole thing, just watch until the chorus.

(I knew you were trouble, goat remix)

And that was a contoh of a goat remix. So what is a goat remix? Well based on apa yang korang dah (ataupun tak) tengok, its basically a song, or anything for that matter, yang diremixkann dengan memasukkan bunyi and/or video kambing menjerit. Tu je. Tapi over time people on youtube makin creative. Ada rock goat remix, hip hop, even dubstep goat remix.

So in the year 2007, video-video kambing menjerit macam manusia dah start viral kat youtube. Tapi in 2009 ada this one youtuber (lupa entah apa nama dia) gi dub video lagu Usher "Papers" dengan bunyi kambing menjerit. And from there, semua orang pun nak buat goat remix, yay! Tapi the reason dia baru jadi an internet phenomena now is that because in February, this year, ada orang upload a video called "Goats Yelling Like Humans" yang dapat 12.5 million views. Gila babi ah. Anyway from there on, the internet did its magic and voila! Goat remix. In fact, lagu Taylor Swift ni ha was one of the first few videos this year yang digoat remixkan.

But but but but hold on. Ada a few other things you should know. The goat "yelling" in some of the videos are actually not the real sounds of an actual goat yelling. Sebenarnya ada orang ambik video clip kambing tengah bukak mulut dia and dub dengan suara orang menjerit. Not all of them la. Some of them. Also you should know that some of the so-called goats in the videos, bukan goat pun, they're sheep. Tapi honestly I don't think its an issue pun. The videos were funny. Enough said. I mean even aku tertipu but who cares?

So what's the evolution of the goat remix? Well now people on youtube dah buat other forms of animal remix like a seal remix, people yelling like goat remix and, my personal favorite, nicholas cage remix.

Ok tu je nak share

Fun Fact Time

But before we get to the so-called important facts of tonight, tengok video ni. Sangat penting dan berkaitan dengan the point yang aku nak sampaikan tonight. So watch first eh.

(National Geographic)

Dah tengok? seriously if you don't watch it first, then you won't get the point I'll be making.

Dah?

Dah ke belum babs???

HAH! congrats, you've been RICK ROLLED!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Ok dah. Actually bende ni dah sangat sangat sangaaaaaaaaaaaaaat lama. But baru sekarang terasa nak buat research kenapa bende rickrolling orang ni jadi trending suatu masa dulu. Anywaaaaay, what is rick rolling? and what do people mean when they say "YOU'VE BEEN RICK ROLLED BITCH!!!" Basically camni, the game is to get people to open a link of the music video Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley by tricking them. Kalau diorang bukak the link for whatever reason, then congratz! You rick rolled someone. That's the basic idea la. And tak semestinya kene bukak a link of the video. Over time, orang makin creative and mula buat banyak banyak cara lain nak tipu orang into opening the video. Like I did with the National Geographic thing. eheh

Ok so fine, we know what rick rolling means. Tapi camne tetibe dia boleh trending and terjadi an internet meme at that time? Camni, on April Fool's day 2008, youtube played a prank on the world. Kat home page youtube tu, youtube gi tukar all the videos on the home page to Rick Astley nye lagu ni ha. And ever since then, everyone try nak prank orang by making other people bukak link to his song. Dia macam one of those trending things at those times alongside planking and all.

So apa kata Rick Astley masa dia found out pasal bende ni? Dia lek je. Takde hal ah. He thought it was funny. In fact sebab bende ni jadi phenomena, in 2008 dia pernah nominated for Best Act Ever at the MTV Europe Music Awards. All hail the mighty power of the internet. Oh tapi the funnier and also a bit kesian thing about this phenomena, despite lagu dia sering digunakan sepanjang 2008-2010, he only made $12 from youtube. This is because dalam contract dengan label dia cakap he can only receive "performance shares". So currently today, still unknown brape banyak duit dia dapat sebenarnye. Tapi agak kesian la. Berjuta orang guna lagu kau nak prank orang lain kau dapat $12 je. Kesian doh.

So there you have it. Fun fact of the night.

Selamat mengRick Roll orang.

Sayang Apa Khabar Denganmu

Hellu,

By now I'm guessing most of everyone dah tengok video ni kot

(And in his own words, and I quote : "Inilah penyanyi sebenar lagu Sayang .. Percaya tak percaya lah ~ hahaha)

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Ok puas gelak. Where to begin on this video. Well the guy yang post this video (and I'm guessing that's him in the video as well) is Adnan Othman. Malaysian, I guess. Current views: 125 945, 612 likes and 330 dislikes. Not bad stats. Anyway, basically this fella kan dia nak buat parody lagu Shae - Sayang. And he did it in the most absurdly bapok-est way possible, dengan gaya nya, dengan dancing dia (tapi part last-last tu perasan tak dia dah start penat? LOL). So fine ok the purpose of this video was that dia nak buat parody of the song. And honestly dia berjaya make a lot of us laugh and hit replay beberapa kali. So in terms of making us laugh, I give him/her (I'm not sure) an A++. I mean tipu gak lah kalau tak gelak, despite how bapok gaya dia is dalam video ni. Gaya dia tu mahal. Bak kata membe aku, kalah perempuan. But another thing aku nak share pasal this (Which is also just as funny) is the comments section on this video.

(Taken from the comments section on youtube)

Lepas dah analyze most of the comments, 70% orang cakap part bibir tu paling mahal, headbanging tu macam dah kene sawan and the other 30% tak tahu dia lelaki ke perempuan. Also, aku perasan that a lot of people liked the video sebab they got a good laugh out of it. But the number of haters are just as many. Kata dia bodoh la, memalukan kaum lelaki la, inilah itulah, you know typical stuff. Bukan aku nak try defend dia ke apa tau, tapi why the hate? it's funny, just leave it at that la.

But obviously, we can't leave it like that because sentiasa akan ada orang yang akan cari faults. People do stupid things on the internet all the time, so aku dah at that point where dah tak terkejut dah. For all we know he may not even be bapok in real life. Mana la tau la kan. Point is video ni lawak, and everyone is open to their own opinions. This is mine. And if by some strange reason Adnan Othman is reading this (which is higly unlikely) Don't stop making us laugh. Tapi kalau nampak orang tengah kejar kau dengan kayu, I suggest you run.

Ok tu je bye~

Fun with Beauty Cam

So baru-baru ni aku cepat bosan (padahal next week ada test, tak sedar diri) and aku pun download this new app on my phone called Beauty Camera. Basically what it does is, dia cantikkan gambar. So kalau your face ada pimples and such dia akan remove it and cerahkan lagi muka etc etc. Tapi tu semua senang sangat. It says it can make pictures look more beautiful. So I decided to put it to the test.

(Trial 1: An average looking tiger)

For my first try, aku ambik gambar harimau (dari internet yea. takde makne nye aku nak tetibe gi carik harimau) and in the top photo dia nampak gagah dan elegant tapi membosankan. So with the help of beauty cam. BAM!!! The tiger jadi fabulous and more feminine.

Tapi aku fikir balik. Guna tiger pun macam senang sangat. Aku nak lawakan bende yang dah memang buruk. So for trial number 2.

(Trial 2 : An average looking piece of shit)

Hahaaaaa. So 2nd try aku, aku try cantikkan taik anjing yang memang kalau orang tengok, memang memburukkan pemandangan. So the solution? BEAUTY CAM!!! BAAAMMM!!! Taik anjing yang dulu nampak macam sampah, sekarang nampak macam a piece of art. Almost as good looking as chocolate ice cream.

Tapi still aku rasa tak cukup mencabar. So aku fikir lagi. Apa lagi bende yang orang rasa buruk gila babs sampai nak termuntah? So then 3rd trial run aku adalah...

(Trial 3: An average looking possessed girl)

So for my 3rd trial aku telah memilih pelakon utama cerita the exorcist. Dalam gambar before dia nampak buruk. Muka dia penuh dengan scars and imperfections and dia telah memilih tempat yang gelap untuk ambik gambar dia. Ini menyebabkan gambar dia nampak gelap dan tak ceria. So with the help of beauty cam, BAM BAM BAAAAAM!!!! Dia nampak lagi segar. Walaupun app ni tak dapat hilangkan scars dia, skin dia nampak agak flawless and glowing. Rambut dia pun nampak lagi sihat (dah takde idea dah). Tambah lagi dengan effect neon, background gambar ni nampak lagi ceria dan tidak langsung menyeramkan.

So finally setelah puas edit gambar-gambar ni, aku decided nak edit my own picture and see the final result.

(Trial 4: myself)

Ok sumpah aku tak tahan gelak. Rasa nak sepak diri aku pun ada. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Tapi walaubagaimanapun, gambar aku tetap menerima sambutan yang positive daripada rakan-rakan di instagram

(Bukti comments)

Seeee, even Harry cakap kalah Erra, LOL. Sayang sangat membe-membe aku. Anyway, you can see how bored and stressed out I am that I have 4 papers next week. Nasib baik next week dah midsem break jugak. Habis je papers, party like a rockstar kat rumah. TTDI aku datang.

Oh and yeah, app ni best. Download la. Boleh menghilangkan bosan.

Tu je. kbye~~~

Magibon, an uneasy post

Before aku start explaining my confussion (and actually a bit cuak jugak, I don't know why) just watch this video first.

(Don't worry la. Dia bukan something yang scary ke apa)

....Okaaaay. So bagi yang dah tengok (or for whatever reason, malas nak tengok) this is a video of a girl just staring into the camera for 38 secs. I don't even know where to begin. How bout aku mulakan dengan beberapa fakta. Video ni telah pun menerima 6,674,241 views. And and and on average, her other videos pun around juta-juta views jugak. Let me start by saying (and aku tak tahu kenapa) this video membuatkan aku rasa very VERY uncomfortable. She is practically just staring at you, smiling macam an evil demon. Aku sumpah ingatkan macam this is one of those videos yang tetibe some kind of hantu terkeluar ke apa. But no. It's just that. Ok tapi tu aku je la. I went through the comments and most of them were positive. Orang puji la cakap dia cute la bagai. But but but just for staring at the camera for 30 plus seconds and views kau berjuta? seriously youtube? what is this???

Ok moving on to more serious matters. First of all, this girl is not Japanese. To me memang takde muka orang jepun pun but most of the comments on youtube said she's japanese. But I know she's not. Tapi she did learn Japanese from watching anime. Her real name is Margaret Lilian Adams and dia dari Florida. Almost semua video dia maca ni (well yang aku jumpa la) and in an interview, bila orang tanye dia dia tak plan nak buat videos with script ke? Dia reply dia tak guna script and dia takde plan pun. Ok but even so, kenapa just by making videos macam ni dia boleh dapat banyak gila views? Well one of the speculations was that most of her audience adalah lelaki yang berumur 45 dan ke atas....So....you know why lah. Tapi creepy gila ok. I mean, aku tengok video video dia and aku rasa it's creepy. But bila tengok balik statistics and finding out that most of her viewers are guys over 45 macam...eww.

I mean seriously guys. Tengok video ni boleh turned on ke? And at the time dia buat video video ni she was like what? 12? 13? She's just a kid. So many pedos on youtube. Tapi tapi tapi. Another fun fact. Dia pernah appear on the cover of Playboy Japan.

(Control yourselves boys)

Babi kalau aku tahu by doing nothing and posting it on youtube boleh make me famous, baik aku takyah study je. I mean seriously. Video dia macam tu je and now look where she is. I don't understaaaand.

Ok tu je. Goodnight

Harlem Shake

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. By now most of you dah tahu dah the Harlem Shake tu apa kan? And no @ttdiTV Harlem Shake bukanlah sejenis shake dari McD.

(I mean seriously? Ok lah tak baik gelak. Banyak gak orang tak tahu Harlem Shake tu apa sebenarnye)

Anyway, basically Harlem Shake ni is so called the new in thing. Ala dia macam dulu kan ada dougie, planking and at the same time the gangnam style. Ni kiranya macam the new trend all over youtube right now. And even though banyak orang cakap Harlem Shake ni sangat bodoh. Aku rasa dia macam cool je. Hahahah, I'm weird I know. Tak I mean kalau kau tengok the videos dia macam the people yang in the video macam having a lot of fun je and it looks like its so fun to do. Okok enough explaining. Just watch la this video.

(Harlem Shake!!!!)

So dia basically macam tu je la. Music starts, sorang je akan menari while everyone else buat kerja masing-masing macam its nothing weird. But then suddenly the beat drops and semua orang suddenly menari macam orang gila. Tu je. Tapi aku tak tahu la. aku tengok diorang buat macam fun je. So aku plan macam nak buat a Harlem Shake video gak. Hipster tak? lolololo. Tapi kene find a group of people yang sanggup buat keje gila ngan aku. Anyway, fun fact. Harlem Shake ni is originally a dance sometime in the 90s tak silap aku. Its actually a name of a dance move yang takde kaitan langsung with any of these videos. So I'm not really sure kenapa it's called the Harlem Shake. Maybe that's the name of the song kot? Oh well.

Main point is, aku dah lama tak buat keje gila and what a fun way to buat keje gila right? right? no? oh well.

Ok tu je. Byeeee~~~

Off With Your Head!!!

Hello everyone. So korang probably tahu rambut aku boleh kira panjang. And in fact memang aku sengaja biar dia panjang sebab one, aku tak pernah simpan rambut aku panjang sampai macam ni. And two, aku nak tengok brape lama aku boleh simpan rambut aku before kene saman or sound dengan guard UTP. Apparently boleh tahan 2 bulan before aku kene sound, and tu pun dia sound bodoh bodoh sebab aku buat muka comel (lol). So technically boleh tahan lama lagi la without any so called "extreme" measures taken.

However, lately aku rasa rambut aku sangat merimaskan. Like seriously, lepas mandi, hair all over my face. Kalau hari tu panas (and it's always panas) terasa panas yang terlebih lak. Kalau angin tiup, masuk mata and mulut. And top of the list, kalau hari yang aku rasa extremely malas, aku akan nampak serabai level sejuta. Therefore, aku pun telah mengambil keputusan untuk potong rambut setelah menyimpannya selama 8 bulan. But since rambut aku panjang, aku boleh have some fun with my hair before aku actually potong it.

So it started with :

(Rambut aku paling panjang setakat ni)

And then aku terasa nak have fun. Dulu time aku identity crisis aku terfikir nak buat rambut skrillex. So....

(Skrillex...actually sangat rempit)

But then aku realise buat rambut skrillex membuatkan aku nampak sangat sangat rempit. Like level infinite rempit. Aku rasa nak sepak je diri aku time tu. So finally the end result of my hair was...

(Aku sengaja buat black and white sebab nampak cam emo depressed sikit. lol)

Yeap, the end product was aku botak. And esok Isnin which means esok baru my new hair will make its first debut. And even though for now aku boleh cakap aku okay with my hair like this. Aku tahu after a few days, aku akan menyesal, macam perempuan yang baru potong rambut. As for the people yang dah tengok rambut aku, the most common soalan aku dapat is "kenapa kau potong rambut? Kau depressed ke?". Pun boleh guys. But no, the whole reason aku buat post pasal bende ni is because, aku tak pernah botak before this. So now I can cross it off my list of things to do before I die.

Anyway tu je. Hair is just hair after all. Plus rambut aku cepat tumbuh balik pun. My next aim is to not cut my hair for the rest of the year. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Aku akan revisit this topic at the end of the year.

So for now goodnight. Esok aku ada class pagi

Jom Kahwin

Hi everybody.

Lately aku perasan kat Twitter ngan Facebook aku, banyak orang dah start cakap pasal marriage. And actually some of my friends dah pun kahwin and bertunang, like my ex-housemate time kat UiTM dulu. Anyway, this year aku akan mencecah umur 21 tahun and tetibe aku pun terfikir, tak ke too early to start thinking about marriage? I mean yes, people in my age group dah boleh kira matang I guess. Tapi, kitorang still tengah study, kerja pun belum, takde stable income, takde kereta, rumah pun tiada, ada pun bapa punya (lame joke). The point is, tak ke awal sangat? Semua orang fikir nak kahwin sebab semua orang fikir kahwin ni senang and best, tapi diorang ada tak consider the hard parts of marriage? (ceh cakap macam aku dah kahwin)

I mean tipu gak ah kalau aku tak pernah fikir pasal kahwin jugak (even though I'm still single LOL) tapi even then, aku rasa banyak sangat bende nak kene consider kalau nak kahwin nanti. Duit cukup tak nak raise a family, rumah cukup besar tak kalau ada anak, safety family, nak jaga hubungan dengan the in-laws, etc etc. And I know la aku pun not the most Islamic person dalam dunia ni, tapi the main thing aku nak buat before I get married is change myself and my way of living before boleh lead someone ke arah yang betul (matang tak ayat aku?) tapi seriously la, kene change myself first.

At the same time, aku tak tahu kenapa some of my friends rushing nak get married. What's the rush der? Takut awek kau lari? Kalau korang betul-betul sayang each other then you can wait. Cukupkan la semua syarat yang sepatutnya dulu before even considering to get married. Sebab aku tak rasa marriage is all fun and games. Tapi at the same time kan, aku ada dengar gak some of my friends just nak get married sebab dah horny tapi tu gossip lain hari yea, ehehehe.

Anyway, whatever people's decision are to get married now or later, just be prepared for battle

And sebelum korang fikir nak kahwin or not, tanya yourself, are you ready, bebeh?

Anyway tu saje, aku nak mandi.

kbyeeeeee~

(Ramai sangat orang)

10 ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU FOR FIRST TIMERS

  1. Kalau kau stay dalam seminggu or dua minggu camtu and nak banyak travel, get the weekly oyster card pass thingy (lupa apa tah nama dia). Sebab kalau kau ambik the hop on hop off tour bus tu, macam bazir sikit la sebab kau kene ikut time dia. Better kau ambik the week pass and plan your own trip. Tapi kalau kau stay like 2-3 days camtu, ambik la bus hop on hop off tu.
  2. Jangan harapkan semua orang akan layan kau dengan baik. Be on guard all the time.
  3. Jangan percaya sangat street sellers, diorang just nak duit
  4. Kalau kau datang UK just for the shopping, make sure kau jangan pack banyak sangat. Aku nye barang overweight kot masa aku balik -.-''
  5. Always kencing atau berak bila kau dapat chance sebab kau tak tahu bila lagi kau akan jumpa a decent toilet
  6. Also eat when you can sebab tak tahu kat mana lagi ada makanan halal
  7. Try to be back before 12 sebab the drunks there agak menakutkan
  8. Kalau kau jalan sesorang macam aku, make sure atleast ada 1 person yang tahu kau kat mana at all times.
  9. Make sure kau check dulu apa yang kau nak makan tu. Kang tak pasal-pasal termakan babi
  10. If you're lost in central london, jangan panic. Mesti adanya map somewhere along the streets.

(At Heathrow Airport, nak balik Malaysia dah, with my Aunt yang telah jaga aku sepanjang aku ada kat sana)

So tu je la cerita aku kat negara penjajah lol. And now I'm back in Malaysia, back in UTP and busier than ever. The experience was fun and exciting and full of surprises (ayat buku text) tapi most of all, aku lagi appreciate negara sendiri sekarang sebab experience ni. Not sure kalau dua statement tu ada kaitan ke tak but yeah macam tu la. Anyway, will begin blogging as per normal again bila ada masa lapang.

Bye semua, Salam Satu Malaysia :D

Tiboh patriotik
